We try to offer as much variety as possible to the men who enjoy the comfort and style that this last offers. We will post here Alden news and details of future orders. MARCH 2010 - Alden has shown us new samples of Horween's Natural Light Brown Chromexcel Leather. At the moment, Alden uses the Dark Brown Chromexcel Leather on the #403 Indy Boot.

We have ordered a case of Custom Indy Boots in the Modified Last using Horween's Natural Light Brown Chromexcel Leather. Additionally, we have ordered a case of Custom Indy Boots in the Modified Last using Horween's Dark Brown Chromexcel Leather.

Chromexcel is the original pull-up leather; using time honored techniques and formulas that were developed nearly 100 years ago. Chromexcel is still produced in the United States using a bark retannage from a proprietary recipe, and then genuine hot stuffed with our secret blend of natural oils and greases.

Chromexcel is characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand rubbed finishes. Made to this day with old world craftsmanship, modern Chromexcel carries on a long history of superior comfort and durability.
